Rebecca Klein, BA

Archaeologist

Rebecca started with Ursus in January 2026 and has been employed as an archaeologist in southeast BC since 2021. Based in the West Kootenays, she has worked on assessments in various sectors including hydroelectric distribution, forestry, and telecommunications. In 2024 she participated in excavations at the UNESCO - designated World Heritage Site Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump near Fort Macleod, Alberta. She is interested in lithic analysis and raw material procurement and has experience with GIS mapping. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys cooking, camping, and taking in live music.
