Neve Turgeon, BSc

Archaeologist

Neve joined Ursus in March of 2026 as an Archaeologist. She completed her BSc at the University of Victoria, double majoring in Anthropology and Greek and Roman Studies. Neve attended field school in 2019 and 2022 in Cabrera de Mar, Spain excavating an Iberian-Roman site.  Since then, she has been working as a professional archaeologist, beginning in 2022 and has experience in the Interior, Northwest Coast and Subarctic regions of British Columbia where she has worked on assessments for oil and gas, BC Hydro, residential, and municipal developments. Neve is interested in zooarchaeology and lithic analysis. When not in the field, Neve enjoys hiking, camping, mountain biking, and skiing.
